Introducing The Oral Stage.

The Oral Stage Theatre Company (TOS) began in 2004 with a small group of theatre-curious youth who glimmered at the thought of stage work. Their gratifying first-hand involvement at an experimental theatre production inspired the evolution of TOS into an independent theatre company, opening similar rewarding doors for the coming generation. TOS functions today as an ever-expanding hub for passionate youth from all walks of life to grow as artistic individuals, on and off the stage. The company utilizes theatre as a significant medium that engages, evokes and entertains the community, while creatively channeling across the voice of Malaysian youth.

TOS has worked with, and receives encouraging support from the local theatre community. Based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, the company has nurtured more than 90 aspiring individuals to date and has 7 major productions under its belt, having performed in several venues in Kuala Lumpur, the Klang Valley and Penang Island. TOS will make its debut overseas in Singapore in August 2008.
